I mentioned earlier that my Counter Strike experience is quite big, and I don't play CS anymore, so here at zomgful I can tell you how can you improve your CS skills.
First of all : CS is all about positioning yourself, your teammates.
You can see SK topping like a 2v5 moment quite often, because of their enormous experience in positioning. They can clearly imagine where their opponents are, so they just have to tap out, have a little higher reaction ms than their opponents, and voila, headshot, headshot, another SK mini-movie! They just have played in certain positions more than their opponents, that's all!
Secondly : You won't become good just by deathmatching.
It was very painful for me to understand this. I used to play like 2hours in deathmatch servers every day, instead of playing in PUG's (we call them gathers in Europe, but that is not the point).
CS:DM is good for your reflexes. You can really get an enormous reflex boost by playing in deathmatch servers. But you don't play positions there, do you? You just run around like crazy, fireing from every angle you can, but if you had a position like that to shoot from in a Clan War, man, you would hell'a suck, just because you had a different mindset in your deathmatch time.
Thirdly : Pick Up Games, Gathers (same thing), Clan Wars will naturaly boost your game, as you will slowly, but surely learn to fire from different angles better and better, with just one but. You will get alot better if you play them with much more skilled players.
And yeah, just for you to know - today's my birthday. Hip-hip-hurray!
